Discover the profiles of the members of the 2016 Pack Experts Committee. The trade shows EMBALLAGE and MANUTENTION > ALL4PACK Paris have enlisted the support of packaging professionals from leading international groups in their respective fields (Food, Healthcare, Toiletries, Distribution, Capital Goods, etc.) as well as ECO-EMBALLAGES (the French organisation for the promotion of sustainable packaging). In addition, this year we have expanded the membership of our “think tank” to include supply chain experts, in association with ASLOG (French Logistics Association). This addition of contrasting forms of expertise enables the show to establish its content offering in line with current industry issues.

A graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure and the holder of a Master’s Degree in Logistics from Paris Dauphine specialising in the managements and economics of networks, Frédéric Beltoise, aged 42, has a distinguished career background and experience from a host of disciplines. 


Philippe Bonningue

Philippe Bonningue is the Global Director of Sustainable Packaging&Development for L’OREAL Group. Starting mid-2013, his role has been to establish the vision, the missions and the strategy of the Group in order to have the new launched products with the most controlled impact on the environment, in support to the major Sharing Beauty With All worldwide program. In 1997, he joined the Packaging Research department of the DGO (Direction Generale des Operations) where he led a Prospective Innovation team. In 1999, he took over the responsibility of the “Pumps and Aerosols Optmization” laboratory.  In 2000, he was promoted head of Development and Packaging for Cosmetique Active Internationale. After 4 years, he moved to USA as head of Development and Packaging for Luxury Products Division and for Active Cosmetics Division. In 2007, he became Vice-President of Development & Packaging for the North America zone, with responsibilities covering the product development, the technical packaging, the packaging Innovation and the Sustainability.

“With a degree in Business and Management and following a Master’s Degree from ESSEC in Management and Business Law, I began my career in Spain in a logistics and customer support role for Hewlett Packard. I spent the rest of my career in the Philips group following a partial buy-out. With more than 15 years of experience in this group, I occupied a range of functions in France and abroad in the group’s various business sectors (Medical, Lighting, Group functions), always in functions relating to supply chain and service. I became Director of Service and Logistics activities at Philips Healthcare in September 2015. My experience covers a wide range of specialist areas in supply chain and services and I am in daily contact with the demands of our customers and our own standards of operational excellence and optimisation of our value chain (costs, quality, etc.). My passion for the supply chain led me to join ASLOG in 2014, where I have the honour of coordinating a work group on the Packaging theme. In this respect I am delighted to join the Pack Experts Committee to have the pleasure of a new experience combining learning and making new encounters.


Vincent Ferry

A packaging enthusiast ever since his university studies in Industrial Design (UTC 1980-1985), Vincent Ferry prefers to describe himself as a “packaging architect”. In 2013 he won the Packaging du Manager Award from EMBALLAGE MAGAZINE and the Design Grand Prix awarded by STRATEGIES for the new DANONE yoghurt pot.


Annette Freidinger-Legay

International Packaging Expert

With an engineering degree from ENSAIA, Annette Freidinger-Legay was co-director for 14 years of the French Packaging Institute (the founder of the Packaging Oscars) after being Development Manager at IFBM (French Beverages and Brewing Institute).


Bruno Garnier

 Packaging and Sustainable Development Expert

With an art degree in his back pocket, Bruno Garnier spent sixteen years as an “adman” in a variety of graphic design consultancies. Climbing from desktop designer to Art Director via a role as design studio manager, he took part in a large number of campaigns in a diverse spectrum of fields ranging from cosmetics to food and major household brands (Cacharel, Dassault, Bahlsen St-Michel, Kärcher etc.). He was spotted by Carrefour in 1998 for his host of skills and appointed to the newly-created position of Non-Food Packaging Manager at its Evry head office. 


David Herrenschmidt

Supply Chain Director GALERIES LAFAYETTE / LE BHV MARAIS

With an engineering degree from the Toulouse ENSIACET and a Master’s in International Supply Chain from Paris Dauphine, Davis Herrenschmidt has held a range of responsibilities in the Galeries Lafayette group in the areas of stores (Back Office management) and logistics (Warehouse Management). He is currently in charge of Supply Chain projects which aim to optimise current processes but also offer innovative solutions to Supplies, Logistics, Transport and Services provided to Stores and Customers. In this respect and in keeping with the group’s CSR drive, he is in charge of studying the future of packaging in the supply chain.

With degrees in Business then in IT, Jean Lou Joux joined Fromageries Bel straight from college. Following initial career experience in sales and marketing (National Account Manager, Sales Director, Communications Manager and Trade Marketing Manager France), he joined Group Bel’s Supply Chain division in 2012 as Environmental Product and Project Manager. He has been Logistics Manager France since 2014, and is additionally the representative of Groupe Bel in Club Déméter on logistical and environmental issues. 


DR Marc Hunger

Prior to joining Merck as Head of Global Marketing in 2014, Marc has worked in a number or rolls at Reckitt Benckiser and Freudenberg, among which as R&D Manager for Reckitt Benckiser and Category Technical Manager for Freudenberg. Marc holds a PhD in chemistry from University Heidelberg and a Master of Business Administration from University of Applied Science in Kaiserslautern. Marc has broad experience in FMCG and BtoB industry with focus on strategic approach of product development, innovation management and business/market development.

Jan Le Moux

An agricultural engineering graduate, Jan Le Moux has been working in the field of the environment and sustainability for more than 15 years. He joined Eco-Emballages in 2010 where he is responsible for eco-design and recycling market intelligence. He is also a Director at the French National Packaging Council (Conseil national de l’Emballage). 


Françoise Lochet

The holder of one degree in Japanese and another in management, Françoise Lochet gained experience in a number of job areas and environments (BtoB marketing, Industrial marketing, Project management) before arriving in the packaging sector. Today she is Products and Packaging Development Director at Expanscience, a group of pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetology laboratories specialising in arthritis and skincare.

“Having occupied a range of marketing positions in laboratories and consumer goods firms such as Henkel, GSK, Boots Healthcare and most recently Reckitt Benckiser, I joined Pfizer in November 2009 to head the Marketing department of its over-the-counter subsidiary, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. Having developed and supervised the French launch of some of the Group’s global brands such as Advil, Centrum and Nexium, I was then appointed Commercial Lead BeLux and more recently Marketing Lead for France, Middle East, South Africa and Baltic.

Aged 44 and a graduate of Nice business school, Arnaud Rolland commenced his career in mass retail then consumer research before joining Coca Cola Enterprise in 2000. Following a spell in sales to mass retail, he has spent the last 6 years in charge of the company’s CSR policy in France and is particularly active in issues relating to the circular economy of packaging. He has also been a Director at the French Packaging Council (Conseil National de l’Emballage) since 2010.
