3 questions to Jean Bal Thermoformage

Interview with Didier PHILIPPE Managing Director of Jean Bal Thermoformage

WHAT IS YOUR COMPANY’S LATEST NEWS/YOUR LATEST PRODUCTS?

In 2019, we have invested €1 million in extending our production site and on the arrival of a new thermoforming production line.

Jean Bal Thermoformage is experiencing significant growth of 30% in three years. To pursue and support our growth in the best conditions, we have adapted our structure and our production facilities. Following six months of extension works (+650 m²) in storage, production and offices, we today have 3,200 m² of facilities. The building was delivered to us in January 2019.

In February 2019 we received a new ILLIG thermoforming line to increase our production capacity.

In our new developments in 2019, we will address the question “What food packaging for tomorrow?”

Packaging lies at the heart of environmental concerns: fast food, sandwich bars, snack bars and food trucks are big users of packaging.

We are working on concrete solutions which can be discovered very soon…

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH? WHAT RANGE DO YOU HAVE TO RESPOND TO THE HIGH DEMANDS OF MANUFACTURERS AND CONSUMERS IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT/ECO-DESIGN?

We always aim to be proactive in awareness of the use of recyclable and recycled materials.

WHY ARE YOU TAKING PART IN ALL4PACK Paris 2020 / WHAT TYPE OF PROFESSIONALS DO YOU MEET THERE?

This exhibition is essential for us. We have been exhibiting there for 15 years. We find genuine development opportunities on our markets and mainly in the areas of industry and consumer goods.
