3 questions to No-Nail Boxes

Interview with Boris REMY, sales director

Which is the major subject you are currently focusing on?

NO-NAIL BOXES is constantly evolving because we adapt most of our folding boxes to the dimensions of our customers' products. Out of 350,000 folding plywood boxes we produce annually, 95% are made to measure. Every week, or even every day, we develop a new crate. To give just one example, I can mention one of the latest solutions we have developed for a customer who works in the production of industrial machine tools. The customer has products of different heights to be packed. In order to facilitate the packing stage, we have designed an "interlayer" frame that our customer can position to modulate the height as he wishes. This way, they can add one or more additional wall heights.

What is your strategy to answer the increasing demand from both the industries and the consumers, in terms of sustainable development / eco-design ?

It is true that more and more customers are demanding an eco-responsible policy in their specifications. NO-NAIL BOXES is very sensitive to sustainable development and environmental protection. We are moreover labelled CSR (Socially Responsible Company). A CSR approach involves integrating the three pillars of sustainable development: the social dimension and equal opportunities, governance and the environment. The latter is very important to us. We are PEFC-certified, among other things. This label is proof that we use wood from sustainably managed forests.

The packaging solution we offer is eco-responsible. Our tailor-made production avoids overpackaging, our crates are 100% recyclable and we have a range of reusable boxes

Why did you choose to take part in ALL4PACK 2020 ? / Which kind of decision makers do you meet there ?

ALL4PACK Paris is the leading trade fair for packaging and is very important to us! This exhibition is an opportunity to meet many customers but also prospects. The majority of our sales are generated in France. Therefore, being based in Paris, this show is ideally located. We have been exhibiting there for many years. And every two years, we are delighted to return!
