Which is the major subject you are currently focusing on?
The sector in which GIC has been operating for more than 25 years is constantly evolving, with many requirements. Our R&D department is always searching for new processes and innovations in order to be ever closer to our customers and meet their expectations.
This year, in time for LABELEXPO, we launched our new SPEED ETIQ solution, dedicated to the application of RFID tags on a label that has already been die-cut. This solution completes our TAGINNOV range.
We have also worked on the new version of the Dyxee Cut 350 L. In addition to the cutting part, the equipment has been rounded out with finishing modules.
What is your strategy to answer the increasing demand from both the industries and the consumers, in terms of sustainable development / eco-design ?
We see eco-design as a topic to work on as a matter of course every day through the materials we use. In terms of electrical aspects, we offer solutions that recover the residual energy of the motors so it can be reused on other devices, leading to energy savings of approximately 30%.
Why did you choose to take part in ALL4PACK 2020 ? / Which kind of decision makers do you meet there ?
GIC has been showing at this exhibition, formerly Salon de l’Emballage, for several years now. ALL4PACK is the essential meeting place for packaging professionals and, as an actor in this sector, we have a duty to be present at this event. This show offers us a place to meet all our customers, but it is also an opportunity to meet new sales leads. For GIC, this event is above all an opportunity for all visitors (professionals, customers or prospects) to discover the full range of solutions we offer and our latest innovations in the aim of sharing, exchanging and transmitting our enthusiasm.
