What major subjects are you currently working on?
As a general packaging specialists, our 44 years of experience give us recognised expertise, while the density of our sales network in the Greater Paris region, as well as the quality of our logistics services in our catchment area, have made us a major player. Today, we wish to extend our sphere of influence and serve all manufacturers in mainland France. To do this, a dedicated e-commerce website is being designed, but this can also be achieved through partnership agreements.
What approach and offering do you have to meet the high demands from manufacturers and consumers for sustainability and eco-design?
We have been keen to do more to protect our planet for a long time.
Thus, we were among the first to vigorously promote cushioning through machines (air cushions and crumpled paper) to drastically reduce the spread of polystyrene particles.
We also converted a large proportion of our standard American box range to BE flute a long time ago to reduce the weight of the packaging. Our main product family, corrugated board, is a circular material. It is mainly made from recycled fibres and can be recycled many times.
Furthermore, for our supply chain, we favour French companies (75% of our purchases) and even regional firms when possible in order to minimise our carbon footprint.
We are also looking for more eco-friendly solutions for products that are less eco-friendly. This includes product substitution (paper instead of plastic) but also selling biosourced, biodegradable or largely recycled products. We have been carrying out all these actions on a daily basis for a long time, and we have decided to incorporate them into a CSR approach that we have just embarked on.
Why are you taking part in ALL4PACK Emballage Paris this year?
It is because we are now intending to make ourselves better known beyond the Paris, Normandy and Picardy regions that we decided to take part in this edition. In addition, given that our business has built its success since the outset on people, therefore on the meeting between our sales force and our client partners, we were frustrated for many months by recent events and in particular by COVID, which reduced our opportunities to meet up. It therefore appeared to us that the end of 2022 was an ideal time to welcome our clients and sales leads at the exhibition.
